Having Trouble With Fusion 360 and ClickLock

There is a feature in Windows called "ClickLock".  It allows those of us with a disability, who have trouble using a traditional mouse, to be able to click-and-drag to select items.  For me, I use a mouthstick to do all my work and cannot press a button and move a mouse at the same time (I am paralyzed from the chest down and can't use my hands).  ClickLock allows me to press and hold the left mouse button (for a moment) and then I can move the mouse and it will click-and-drag for me.

All of that to say, Fusion 360 does not seem to recognize the ClickLock feature on Windows.  I can shift+click items to select them, but I can't click-and-drag to select items.  It becomes a big issue when I need to select many small items that are almost impossible to select one at a time.

I verified that all of the Select filters were on.  I tested turning ClickLock off and had someone else click-and-drag and it worked fine.

I realize this is kind of a weird situation, but I was just curious if anyone had a suggestion for a workaround for something like this.

I can see where this feature would be very help for you.  I found a workaround that may or may not help you as the initial mouse click, to activate the Click Lock feature, must be combined with a slight mouse movement.  The video will illustrate.  During the video I try and make it clear when I am not holding down the mouse left button as you can see my hand.

Thank you for your detailed response.  You have outlined the problem very eloquently.  I can confirm that it does indeed "work" if you move the mouse while clicking (I had someone try it for me).  Unfortunately, no matter how short I make the click time, it doesn't work for me as I cannot physically do the 2 operations simultaneously.

Even though this is a big issue, anything that requires clicking and dragging does not work in Fusion 360 with ClickLock turned on.  There are several things I can enter manually (like measurements and dimensions)  but other things don't have a workaround like moving nodes in a sketch, etc.

This is the first CAD system I've used with this issue, but I really like the product.  "Hey, AutoDesk, I'll be a tester for any future accessibility features!!"  🙂
