I am designing a block incorporating a drain. The centre hole base point lines up with the beginning of a drainspout cut off to the side. From what I can tell this may be the trigger for this internal error - but this detail is important. This being said, fudging it to be off a bit did not fix the problem.
I get:
- Error: misclassified graph coedge - probably geometrical problem
As an error when I try a cut operation " target body "MainBase", tool "HoleCutout"
I had a similar error with the DrainSpout and DrainspoutCutout, as the cutout tool started on the face of the Drainspout, but then I extruded the cutout tool further, and that cut operation worked.
I can't seem to fudge this other HoleCutout tool to work. I extruded it higher, and then changed the height of MainBase to put the tool extending to a different depth, but neither works, and it's frustrating as the other posts seem to suggest it is due to an internal error (rather than a design error).
The HoleCutout tool was a cylinder, and then I revolved a domed/rounded tip to it with the peak of that dome being coincident with the beginning of the Drainspout cutout allowing water to drain off to the side.
I have attached the f3d file.
