custom threads not showing up in the menu

Hello,

I am trying to add a custom thread file, but it is not appearing in the thread menu of Fusion 360.

I followed this tutorial: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Custo...

I located the \ThreadData folder, pasted the custom thread file (.xml), and then restarted Fusion 360. However, when I opened the thread menu, nothing happened.

Thank you

Could you attach your XML file to allow others to check your syntax.  Also we can try it out also.

I downloaded the TXT file you directed me to, changed the Extension to XML and added it to the Thread Database folder, restarted Fusion 360 and it shows up fine.  I would re-trace your steps to verify your process is exactly as outlined in your first posted link.

Hi,

I have identified the issue. Yes the path is %localappdata%\Autodesk\webdeploy\Production<version ID>\Fusion\Server\Fusion\Configuration\ThreadData.

However, there are two <version ID> folders that contain a \ThreadData folder with the same path.

(The wrong \ThreadData folder contain nothing inside)

Thanks
