Hello @bhavani_sankuratri !

Yes, i tried a little experiment and found out if i copy the assembly with drawings included, without changing any components the drawing is fine and working, but if I replace the new copied assembly with components then the problem persists. Because in my workflow I have bunch of similar assemblies (lightboxes for retail ads) but different dimensions. It's more time-efficient for me to copy the assemblies (with drawings included) and then replace the components in my new copied assembly. That way i have similar layout of the drawings and i don't need to redraw. I hope you understand what i'm trying to achieve here and i remember this workflow used to work before the major updates with part/assembly/hybrid design types (i might be wrong though 😄 )

Thank you!

I am recently experiencing this problem. When I copy an assembly with drawings and then try to open to copied drawing, it says its corrupted. This is before I even change anything in the copied model. PLEASE HELPPPPP

Also everytime I make a copy with drawings the copied drawing only links back to the original model and not the copied model. I feel like this not how it should be

@ColeKGRRM yeah now i tried it also to copy the assembly (without changing components) and open the new drawing it says its still corrupted 😞

If you have a new copied assembly with linked components inside of it, naturally it will be linked to old components, but you can replace them
If you have unlinked components inside your assembly, i think it should be new components, but i can't check in the drawings because its corrupted 😄

@linas I found I can open the corrupted drawing if the original drawing I copied is opened. But the copied drawing still links to the original model and not the copied model, which I do not believe this is how the "copy with drawings" feature worked before. It still doesn't help that you can't just open the drawing directly

I do believe I have no more issues with copied drawings, but not sure if the original issue got resolved.
