Convertible for Fusion360

Hi folks!

i am using Fusion360 for a few years now coming from SolidWorks and Catia.

My main work is designing components for 3D printing and draw parts for my customer. CAM ist used for my CNC.

Right now my parts are quite simple and heavy work is done bei editing .stls - there is no real rendering and so on.

Currently i am using a Surface Laptop Studio, i7-11700, RTX3050ti, 32 GB RAM - main reason: i am an illustrator as well (need a pen support on screen) and i need a device for my whole workflow. Recently i had problems with Fusion being very very slow!

so i thought, there could be maybe a better solution for my workflow?

maybe someone from this community can help me out 🙂

my programs:

- Fusion360

- ClipStudio

- CR Scan

- Photoshop

i am open for any suggestions! could also be a split solution: Notebook + Tablet?

Budget would be selling price from Surface + a bit 😉

The single core speed is the most important factor in fusion.

Is Single core more important than GPU? Or: is a iGPU enough if i have a nice CPU or do i have to have a GPU?

Hi,

Most design processes are carried out in single-core mode.
In my opinion, the GPU is almost a little oversized.
I have an GTX 1060 graphics and can't detect any impairments.
