First problem.

History.

Move the Fillet feature to before the Mirror feature.

History.PNG

(Also the workplane isn't technically needed.)

Second problem.

History again.

Thanks for your answer - the object was to use the 'built-in' change feature
of mirror where a modification to the original will telegraph to the
mirrored 'copy'.

I understand the objective - I don't think you understood my response.

File>Export and Attach your *.f3d file here.

Fusion follows a history-based parent/child relationship.

It's all in the Timeline.

I'm pretty sure I understood: Put the changes before the mirror therefore any of the changes will be part of the mirror operation.

However, that negates the benefit of automatic changes.

Please see files attached as requested

Oops, made the video and then forgot about it while it was compiling.

History

in history timeline you Mirrored Feature rather than body and selected the specific feature that you wanted to mirror.

Then later in time, which logically Mirror could not anticipate what you would do later in time, you added a fillet.

So logically,

in history you would need to add the Fillet before mirror and then Edit the Mirror to tell it, oh by the way, I also want to mirror the Fillet feature

or

change the Mirror to mirror of Body rather than Feature and move the feature to before Mirror so that in time Mirror knows that Fillet exists.

With sketch you only have one choice - edit mirror and add the additional entity.

In a history-based modeler like Fusion, SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo - this all follows a very logical process.
