Cannot finish form due to invalid T-Spline Surface, Cannot thicken due to non-manifold surface?

Good afternoon,

I am new to fusion 360 and am trying to create a mask.

My end goal is to be able to 3d print this mask.

The model itself looks okay to me, I have attempted to repair it and confirmed I have no surfaces with more than 4 edges or vertices.

To turn this into a physical object, I know I need to thicken it somehow, but using the thicken tool notes that it can only be applied to manifold surfaces. I am not entirely certain what this means.

I cannot finish the form as well, it notes that it is an invalid T-Spline surface - I cannot find any information on what this means either, and no information on how to go about determining what is wrong.

Please note that I am not trying to create a smooth surface for this mask. When printed, this object should look polygonal just as it is shown in the file.

Furthermore, I know this object will be too large for me to print, I will likely need to split it into parts first, print them, and then join them afterwards - Can anyone let me know the best practice for doing so?

Please find the F3d attached.

Thanks

For some reason the file you attached will not open in Fusion. Can you try sharing a link to it?

File > Share Public link. (be sure to use the setting to allow downloading)

Hi Phil,

Thank You for Your reply!

I have been able to resolve my problem since posting.

Part of the solution was to apply the latest update to fusion.

After doing so, I was able to thicken the form without incident, and after repairing again, I was able to finish the form this time!

Thanks for reaching out!
