This has been working great for me (dozens/hundreds of times/day for weeks)

The issue is related to the latest version of the Python extensions (v2024.4.0) in VS Code.

Weird. It just happened to me today and I had to downgrade my Python extensions to 2024.4.0 from 2024.6.0 (released yesterday, 2024-05-02) to get it working again. It was working fine this morning and after closing and re-opening, my extensions updated and things broke.

If anyone is wondering where to downgrade, got to Settings>Extensions>[click gear icon in Python extension]>Install another version>[select 2024.4.0 in the list]

It will install the older version and then you need to click the "restart" button.

Repeat for the debugger.

Close VSCode and relaunch Fusion.

This fixed it for me for now.
