Boundary Fill Bug

Hi all,

Dealing with a weird Boundary Fill issue since the February 4th minor update(v2026.1.36).

Boundary Fill is having issues with reversing the selected cells(particularly with cut or intersect) and not removing the correct cell(s), keeping random cell(s), or not working at all. 

When using Intersect, it keeps the cells I'm trying to remove. When using Cut, it removes the cell I'm trying to keep. 

Attached is a video showing the error. This should be easily re-created, but I can attach a .F3d if necessary.

Thank you for the clear description, and for attaching the video.

Based on what you are describing, and from what I can see in the recording, this does look like unintended behavior. Boundary Fill should consistently respect the selected cells, especially when switching between Cut and Intersect. It should not reverse the outcome or retain random cells.

To properly investigate this, we will need the actual dataset.

Could you please attach the .f3d file (or .f3z if it contains external references)?

If possible, also let us know:

• Your OS and version

Once we have the file, we can confirm whether this is a bug and log it formally if needed.
