Beginner question in files for tutorials / Getting started with fusion 360

This is such a simple question but I can't seem to figure it out. I am starting to go through the tutorials for learning fusion 360 on the Autodesk web site. The lessons show files being uploaded from my computer into fusion 360 to use and those files are not on my computer. I have searched for a download from the fusion site with no luck. I know its something simple but I cant figure it out.  This is  from the section Get Started with fusion 360.

See the screencast to locate the files I think you are looking for.  If not,, please specify the exact tutorials you are interested in.

There is a zip file to download ( FC course resources_ADA011020) .

I tried to find it again on the Autodesk  tutorial site but couldn't so I have attached it to this post. Hope it helps.

Thank You jhackney1972 ,

I was trying to upload the reciprocating saw file the the beginners section for 3D design. When I first looked for it I missed the file that needed to be downloaded from the lesson page before I could upload it from my computer to fusion. I have used a couple of files that are in the  basic training folder for other lessons. That seems to be a much better system than having files you need to download before you can upload them back to fusion but maybe that was just part of learning. I am blown away by the support I've received when I have reached out.

Thanks Again,

Ben

You cannot 'browse' to the files in that area. It only lets you browse to your computer.

The specific files in the tutorial I am on are supposed to be at the path shown in the tutorial.

The tutorial says to go to:   Fusion Mastery / lesson 3/ dataset folder.

The path shown in the tutorial is:

Solidbox Consulting/autodesk/fusion360/coursefiles/fusion-mastery-lesson3/dataset

I have nothing like that on my computer.  I am using the 30day trial version .

I am at a k12 public school system, maybe I should try the educational version, although, I understood it was the

same version.

THANKS for your help,

Dean

Apologies for 'resurrecting' an old thread, but I'm in the same boat as the OP.  Trying to learn Fusion 360 (I'm a long time Solidworks user) and going through the tutorial vids from Matt Perez.  I've downloaded the .ZIP file snowNLW8M attached above..  Where does that data go - or does it even matter?

If you select the download arrow, beside the zip file, you can place the file into any folder of your choice.  In my screencast, I place it in my dedicated Fusion 360 folder on my C: drive.  From there, all you have to do is unzip it to the folder of your choice, or the same folder.  You will find both MAC and Windows based files in the zip file.  I use the free zip program 7zip but the building in Windows 10 un-zip routine will work as well.

I should have dropped back in here after I got it sorted out.  So far, I'm about halfway through the "Mastery" vids.  There's a bit of "translation" required between the Fusion version used in the vids and the one I'm using, but I'm figuring it out.

Thx!

Thanks for reposting! Associating the correct files with the lessons has still not been fixed.
