Raw material consumptions and inventory accuracy

Raw materials planned for a certain production order should not be available for consumption in production orders created at a later stage. Material requirements currently calculate what is in production inventory, which if there are multiple production orders, your inventory is incorrect. My recomendation would be that consuptions are consumed during material staging and not in the first operation of a process flow.

Hi @pventer86JT4

I see this idea very similar to the one named "Inventory Allocation". That would allow Fusion Operations to have the concept of "Planning raw materials" and therefore having an accurate inventory.

By making the consumptions when staging the materials the system would lead to an inaccurate inventory since you still have those units, just not available for producing other Production Orders.

Let me know if you have a different thought
