Non Conformance Reports

It would be a fantastic feature to have a dedicated section for logging Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) directly in the system. Workers could simply log in, describe the non-conformance for the specific job or operation they’re working on, and even upload pictures if needed. Once submitted, the production manager would get a notification to review the NCR, ensuring nothing gets missed. Plus, it would automatically keep all the NCR data organized and easy to access for future reference.

Right now, we’re using a workaround suggested by the Fusion Operations team, but it’s a bit clunky—it takes extra steps and makes it harder to keep the NCR records neat and centralized. Having this built-in would save time and make the whole process much more efficient

We use the Issues Module to record NCRs by creating a simple Issue Type called Nonconformance. It works well until we need to attach files to specific comments. Currently, attachments can only be added at the issue level, not at the comment level, which forces us to manually reference files when responding. It would be extremely helpful to attach documents directly to comments so each comment clearly shows its related evidence—especially for complex NCRs that require multiple back‑and‑forth updates.
