Inventory Numbers Visible to Workers

Inventory Numbers Visible to Workers

Being a machine shop with a large variety of cutting tools, it would be great if when a worker was going to sign something out of inventory that it also showed the current amount of stock that should be available to them before they sign it out. We rely on the inventory numbers being correct in order to keep production going smoothly, but things do happen where the inventory doesn't always match the real life to the Fusion ops amount. It would be very fast for a worker to notice the numbers between the two were off. Versus when I get told we do not have an inserts left when fusion operations says there should be 10.

Hello @TronIndustriesInc

Thank you for your idea. Can you tell me which button on the mobile app are you using? I would assume it is the Inventory In & Out, but please confirm.

Fusion Operations has an alternative flow, using the button "Find Product" > Select the Product > See its locations, lots, and corresponding quantity > Choose "Move"/"Pick"/"Ship". Let me know your thoughts about this flow.

Thanks @andrade_david ,

How do I add this "Find Product" button to my workers tablet options? I know I had done this once in the past but it was 5 months ago.

You're welcome! I recommend changing the device setup that is associated to the tablets (the device setup contains the set of buttons shown on the tablet), by including the button "Find Product" to the list.
You can find that information in this help center article.
