Dashboard Analytics

Dashboard Analytics

Analyzing data in the dashboard can be pretty time-consuming at times, especially when you have to dig into individual worker screens to check their performance. It’d be amazing to have a general dashboard that gives an overview of how every worker on the production floor is performing—all in one place. You could quickly see things like productivity, completed tasks, and other key metrics for the day without jumping between screens. It would save so much time and make it easier to spot trends or address any issues right away

The built-in dashboard feature in Fusion Operations holds great potential, not only by allowing shopfloor workers to have a clear view of what is happening along the production line and to follow products, but also by showing them how they are performing against the daily plan and their progress.
Additionally, it can serve as a communication tool between the production manager and the shopfloor, in case of sudden changes to a product or urgent notices.

With this in mind, we believe that some additions would be useful, not only for our use case but also for other companies, since dashboards are an area where Fusion’s customizability is still limited.

Some improvements that come to mind are:

  • Allowing gauge customization based on user-defined input targets (e.g. 70 product/day);

  • Ensuring greater transparency regarding the queries used and their meaning (e.g.: A – Quantity Produced and H – Total Quantity Produced);

  • Allowing the combination of two queries to create new, relevant KPIs, such as planning progress (e.g.: importation of planning through the Production Orders importer > reading of the query related to the planning date > summing the total of products expected to pass through the workstations > query operation: Total Quantity Produced / Quantity Planned > output showing each workstation’s progress against the daily plan);

  • Enabling defect tracking and classification by type, linked to the machine associated with the operation, for real-time monitoring, balancing, and identification of possible root causes.

Appreciate your feedback @joao_francaUQBX5.

On a side note, you can already combine two queries on the same KPI, on the field "Formula (using query variables)". Assuming both queries exist in the system, this is already possible and you could use it to calculate quality rate (would be Total Waste Produced / (Total Waste Produced  Quantity Produced)).

I agree this data would be useful to you and other Fusion Operations customers.
