Some materials we use often require pulling from more than one lot to meet the total required quantity. For example, if 80 feet of material is needed but only 40 feet exists in one lot, the remaining amount must come from a second lot. Right now, this requires the user to manually add another lot and do the math, which can lead to mistakes or skipped steps. An optional feature that would automatically prompt or assign an additional lot number when the first lot does not have enough quantity would help reduce errors and make the process more consistent. This could be controlled by a backend setting so each company can choose whether to use it. The goal is to simplify the process and improve accuracy without relying on manual calculations.
