Barcodes to suspend or close the production orders

Just the way we have barcodes available to start single or multiple production orders, we must be having barcodes to "Close All" and "Suspend All" that could be scanned using just the scanning gun. Since we don't really need to input the quantity completed in these two scenarios on the tablet, as the system automatically records the total order quantity on the production order or 0 respectively, having the barcodes to scan for these two options would completely eliminate the step of going back to the tablet for getting out of the production order/orders.

• Currently, after scanning all the production orders with the barcode, users need to manually return to the tablet and click ‘No More Product’.
• Can the system automatically detect when scanning is complete.

Fusion Operations has a set of barcodes that replicate tablet buttons when inserting production, such as "insert", "confirm", "cancel" and "confirm and add another". However, when workers are prompted with the options below (‘Close Open Productions’ or ‘Start New Production’) before proceeding, there are no barcodes to replicate this selection. This forces the workers to go to the tablet and make the selection.

Instead of selecting between these two options, can the system allow users to directly scan or select the new production order and proceed without extra steps?

Hi @lutingYFY2Y 

The system starts the multi operation automatically when all products have been selected on the tablet, or when the user clicks "no more product". Prior to that, it's challenging to find a "trigger" or rule for the system to know that the selection has been completed. Can you elaborate more on how this would work?

Alternatively, this barcode could be added to the list in this idea.

Thankyou for your inquiry. We have started using barcodes to scan all products, and while we currently still need to return to the tablet to click 'no more product' after scanning, I fully agree that adding the barcode to the list would help save workers’ time and improve overall efficiency.

We've accepted this idea. In addition to add these barcodes, we'll also add the following ones:

1. Close one by one
2. No more products
3. Select all products
4. Confirm and continue producing
5. Confirm and print label

The option to get these barcodes will also be exposed in the interface, on the labels page, so that all users can see and use them.

Beware that the options ‘Close Open Productions’ and ‘Start New Production’ are already available today, @lutingYFY2Y .
