Using REST

I added a design using pocket clear and can not set rest. JR

In attached design I have tried to rest the 3d contour. Only reason is to try to learn how to use it in other designs.

When ever I use rest with various options the operation fails to generate. I always have to deselect REST to get operation to complete.

I would like to REST clearing ops then finish using REST. Please advise. JR

Most of the reason that your "Rest Machining" attempts have been failing is because you've defined your Stock as "From Bodies" and then selected the same Models that you've selected in your "Model" tab of your Setup. As such, any Rest Machining is likely going to result in no toolpath, as the stock and the model are the exact same component (nothing left to machine). I suggest either modeling your stock (if the model is complex (yours is not) or using Relative/Fixed Size Box.
