Since the latest update to Fusion 360, I've noticed that multiple models I've worked on recently have required me to reselect my Creality 3D printer before it would output usable g-code. It seems Fusion 360 isn't recognizing my cloud-based Creality FFF post-processor. This has also happened when selecting a local version of the PP file. If I reselect the printer (with the matching PP) from my cloud library, it works fine again. I've had the same files do this multiple times after I come back to Fusion the next day. I will either make a minor settings tweak or do nothing at all and just try to make g-code again, and it does this. (I also find it irritating that Fusion forces me to recreate my g-code again just to preview my 3D print "toolpath", even though I saved the model before shutting down Fusion.)
When this happens, it spits out some .gcode.failed data into Notepad++, stating it had an issue with my post-processing because it could not recognize Extruder 0. It seems to occur primarily on files with multiple setups. And it does not occur every time I reload a model that's had this issue.
I recently reinstalled Fusion to see if that would help with a different issue, that did not help with this. (It didn't help with the other issue, either... that's a known bug, apparently.)
If I get it to do this again, I will upload screenshots or a copy of the .failed output.
Thanks Eric.
If you can share your Fusion project/folder with us we can look into it a bit more in detail
