I have a question regarding an adaptive toolpath in CAM. For example if I am using an adaptive to clean out a .4" pocket and I am using a cutting feedrate of 15 in/m. The toolpath used a helical ramp to feed into the material. So if I set the ramp feed rate higher than 15 in/m will it cut at the higher feed rate? Basically I am trying to get the tool to feed to the material quicker, but then use the cutting feedrate specified.

Yes, the "Ramping" feedrate controls the feed of....the ramp. The Cutting Feedrate is for the remainder of the cutting
I figured as much, but couldn't really tell from the simulation. And I didn't want to "live test it" lol. Thank you sir.
Actually, you can, on the second tab of the Simulation:
A
You can also post out the toolpath and read through it for the feedrates. That's pretty quick as well
