Hi. I'm struggling to work out how to post multiple operations so each has it's own work offset allowing me to machine parts complete.

Can you give a bit more info? Why do you need seperate work offsets to machine a part complete in one setup?

Hi Seth.

I have been programming prototype parts since i started learning fusion.. The way i have gone about it was creating individual setups for each operation and posting the operations separately.

Now these parts are in production i would like to set the machine up so the parts come off complete.

Op1 = G54

Op2 = G55

Op3 = G56 etc etc

Is there a way of posting all the operations in to one one pgm and the operations having the correct offset??

I hope that makes sense. Thanks

Ah, I see! Sorry, I've gotten used to people referring to Operations as the individual toolpaths. They tend to do that on the other side of the pond..

So yeah, press CTRL and select all the Setups, post process. You can also CTRL select all the setups, right click and select "Create NC Program". Post out that NC Program (after reviewing the order of tools and whatnot) and good to go.

Now, you will notice that it performs a G28 (or 53) move between offsets. That's by design (for safety). A lot of the new posts have logic in them to bypass this if you want, something along the lines of "Safe Position Method"
