Can anyone help with the correct machining strategy for cutting out oval pockets in a part? I have tried 2d and 3d with no success, I am getting empty toolpath or no passes to link. Please see the attached file.

Hi. In this case I'd use 2D Contour

You can also use 2D Pocket for these slots. Model is attached.

Thanks for your help, after downloading your model there are no toolpaths, only the setup in the left hand plane. Another persons included a model this had toolpaths with this.

They were there, just turned off in the Browser.
