Facing a counterbore with boring bar starting ID traversing outwards X+

Hi could someone tell me how i can control the direction of the finishing cut-path below please?

At the moment it rapids in near to X0 then moves out to the start point, feeds on to the part and then feed in towards the centre. The tool is an 80 deg Rhomboid, which this direction is totally unsuitable for, it needs to feed out from the id towards the OD.

Assuming this is a turning toolpath, try setting the direction to "back to front".

Hi, thank you. Unfortunately I have already tried this and just tried again to make sure, it errors out with empty tool path.

It's because you don't have "Allow Radial and Axial Grooving" turned on.
