CNC milling - Best strategy for milling polygon shape

Hello,

I am currently learning fusion 360 for my X Carve machine i recently purchased. I have created a simple polygon shape and I am looking for someone to show me the most effective way to mill this out of wood, even point me in the right direction for drill pieces - I would really value your help.

I have attached file fusion 360 file.

Thanks.

What you have already got in there doesn't look too bad. although if the wood you are planning to use is what you have set the stock up as then it is probably a bit of a waste doing the Adaptive. If it were me, I would just do the contour with a ball nose bit and a much finer step over.

Cheers,

Anthony
