Bore function bottoming out on limits

Hi, im new to fusion and CnC's I have created a file and used the bore function to cut 6.1mm holes at what I thought the depth of the stock would be but when I load it up on the cic it just plunges the bit until the CNC kicks out a warning saying limit reached and stops moving, I can't tell how much past depth its going but my guess would be almost double as almost the whole bit disappears. Any ideas?

TIA

We'd need your code and machine. My guess is you dont have Z limit switches and there's a G28 in your code. Is that close?

Im really sorry, the problem was me, I put the stock point on the surface rather then the bottom of the stock.
