Using the current version of Fusion 360 / CAM on a Mac.
I've gone through and performed the basic setup for my model. Now I'm attempting to add a 2D Face operation but it fails. A red indicator apears next to the Face item in the browser. The popup error is "Invalid Toolpath" and the detailed error message is:
Debug: Initialization elapsed time: 0 ms
Debug: Using kernel from: /Volumes/Master/Users/hans/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/webdeploy/production/e65096bbec3d87d91777dfcbc35093d1fb80d087/Autodesk Fusion 360.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/Applications/CAM360.framework/camkernel
Error: Kernel died unexpectedly.
Debug:

Any thoughts on how to solve this?
Thanks.

Could you share the file by inviting me (bob.van.der.donck@autodesk.com) to your project so that I can have a look at the file?
Thanks

Anthony,
The cause of Hans' crash was the fact that he was using Mac OS 10.7.
Although the Fusion FAQ page states that Fusion is compatible with Mac OS 10.7 and higher, for CAM work we advise to use at least 10.8.
Cheers.

Ah, well then. That explains it. Let's notify the Fusion 360 Team so they can update that.

You read my mind Anthony 🙂
I have already pinged the Fusion360 team about this.
Thanks.
