Unable to select geometry when choosing HEIGHTS

Hello - I love Fusion 360 but I have a small problem: I've noticed that it is sometimes not possible to select the bottom of a hole when choosing HEIGHTS in a CAM tool path.  I've also noticed that I can't select the bottom of a hole when I'm trying to MEASURE.  Am I missing something?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Turns out this was an easy fix.  Once I turned of SKETCHES I was able to select the bottom of the holes.  I guess you can't select through a sketch.

That's correct. Annoying, but at least you now know!

Quick tip: if you have sketches on and want to use them for other things, hold down your left mouse button and you should see a little pop-up list populate with the features that are approximately under your cursor. This will let you select through things, or if the software is having trouble distinguishing, let you guarantee you've got the right geometry selected.

In this shot I am clicking on the conical face, but there are about four features past that surface that can be selected "through" it that are highlighted as they are rolled over with the cursor:

Awesome!  I knew that feature had to be in there somewhere.  Thanks!
