Toolpath 4. Axis Curves

Hello,

i`m using a hurco vmx 10 together with a 4. axis (kitagawa) in x (A)- Configuration.

i tried to generate toolpathes for the gearbox housing and thought that it can start one side than rotate when milling to produce the cooling fins (for example) and end again at the starting point after 360°.

it´s clear that i can orient the flat areas. but have no idea how to do the curves....

You can use a sketch to set the WCS or any feature on the model.

I have exactly no idea what you mean or how that should work. In 2d it´s clear, but don´t know how I can set the rotation!

@m.neisius can you post the model To do this Go to File -> Export and save as a .F3D Archive File and attach it to your next post, if you can not post the file you can PM it to me or say in your next post you can not post the file and one of the Guys that do NDA work will help.

tried the 4. axis curves. Partly successful. But only can select the whole model, no singular surfaces. or is there a one more hidden function?
