Swarf Cut problems

The problem is likely user error. Attached you will find what I am working with. I would like to swarf cut the bevel on this knife blade, however the settings I am using seem to only let me cut from the wrong direction. If I select "flip top-bottom" I get no tool path.

This created a tool path, but from wrong side:

This generates no tool path:

I was able to fix this. There was some odd geometry in the model form my customer that I needed to fix.

But a second questions is, if anyone knows how to do machine simulation, but have the machine base stay fixed and the trunnion move, vs the trunnion stay fixed and everything else move, that would be pretty awesome.

I am really not sure what I ended up doing to make it all work, but I did. For any of the smart people out there. attached is the final solution that works

While running Simulation with Machine, switch the view from "Model" to "Machine Base" near the bottom of that menu that pops up once you start a simulation
