Stepover Question

How / Where do I view and edit the "Stepover" in the Parameters in Fusion 360.

Not only for Contour but also for the Adaptive Roughing and any others if they are found somewhere different.

Hi,

Its described as optimal load in the passes tab, i think the default expression is 20% of cutter dia.

You can check this be right clicking in box and  edit expression

Hi @kgraham8PY2L

 

Thanks for posting! In all toolpaths that it is available in, the stepover will be found in the "Passes" tab. An example is shown below - for 2D Contour, you can set roughing and finishing stepovers.2dcsoq.png

 The Adaptive toolpath does not use stepovers and uses optimal tool load instead. You can always check the expressions used by Fusion 360 by right clicking in the field and selecting "Edit Expression."
