Spiral option

Is there a 3d toolpath that can trace the center of a curve but has a spiral option? This is trace and it does what I want but it steps down instead of spiraling down.

Hi You could try 2D contour with the Compensation type set to OFF

Set multiple depths

And turn on Ramp in the Linking Tab

Thank you Gentlemen! I forget you can turn off comp completely in Fusion. I kept looking for the "center" option like in trace.

Hi @dames123,

Thanks for feedback. Sugestions above are really good and solve the problem, but spiral option for Trace is still valluable as this strategy might be used for 3D input curves, which are not supported in 2D Contour. I've crated ticket CAM-56139.
