Oval pipe 3+1 CAM problem

Hello everybody!

I can't find a solution on my 3+1(rotary axis) to cut off a non-round pipe along the contour with an end mill. Wrap toolpath doesn't help in this case. Multi-axis contour too((

Try the attached file, as I am not very experienced with the Rotary axis stuff (You do say you have the Rotary axis extension) this may be miles off base but if it does help point the way for you then that`s all I can do 🙂 Worth a try 🙂 🙂

I just did a simple 2D Contour for the slot but it does leave a radius of the tool in the corners and leaves a piece to drop out, mi8ght be better with a 2D Pocket instead so I put one in 😞

@engineguy Thank you very much! I didn't know about the rotary extension at all. Installed and everything worked out. And pocket chose the trace strategy, as advised by @Anonymous
