New tool Library Questions
@Collin_Korver Thanks for the feedback! I do have some answers for you regarding the points you outlined but I wanted to tackle the statement you made at the end of your message where you stated "More to come im sure, don't mean to rant but this new tool library is obliterating our workflow". I just wanted to make sure you are aware that the New tool library release is on by default but the old library is still available through preferences - preview features - tool library. There is currently no date to when the old library will be turned off so if you are really struggling and its impacting production then I would revert back to the old library.
I have responded to your comments below;
1) Why can we no longer drag and drop tools into different libraries?
Planned work for the future and an acknowledged regression regression from the old library.
2) Is there a way to default the sorting apon open? Every time I have to click the active job and then i have to click again to sort by number.
Sort direction and column selection is currently being worked on.
3) Is there a way to globally lock cutting parameters Fx so it always calculates RPM and inch/min based on Vc and Fz?
or default the lead in/lead out to tool_feedCutting/2
The answer to this is No but if there is a strong opinion between users then we could look at making this the default.
4) If you added function based input for cutting parameters, why did the fusion team not make it the same as in operations where we can set our own default.
I am the product owner for the development team looking at the tool library so do not feel I can answer this.

I think users work differently and I am sure IPM matters to someone.
5) I have over a hundred tools. Is there any way to copy and paste presets to other similar tools like drills?
At the moment a preset can only be created per tool and copy and paste does not work.
6) is there a higher contrast version that can be made? the light gray for top search bar is makes it almost invisible
I have spoken to the team this morning regarding this issue. We have a task to increase the density but believe that some high DPI is being done which the team are investigating. The settings in the Tool library are exactly the same in the machine library but they are rendered through chromium.
