Steep and shallow "toolpath Has No Sections"

within the last update about half my steep and shallow toolpaths now give the error "toolpath has no sections". It displays the toolpath, the points are there, but it does not simulate the tool nore post the operation. It even messed up protected operations. This is a problem because this job needs to run this weekend!

The Bug seems to be spreading. I now have a contour toolpath that no longer works.

Not sure why I struggle so much with uploading screencastings. So here is the an alleged screencast link of my contour struggles https://autode.sk/2CF5w8a

The bug seems to be originating intermittently inside the Trim Toolpath modification causing cascading failure of all subsequent operations.

I now have an example where I can force and fix the toolpath has no sections error by deleting a modify toolpath.

We are now experiencing the same issue with toolpath trimming using steep and shallow, parallel, 3d contour and Flow.

Any fix for this Autodesk?

I have requested 3 "need an answers" and I have not received anything. The work arounds I have been using involve patching off the areas that I dont want. other than that if that operation decides it doesnt like toolpath trimming there is nothing to be done except not trim it.

@LeeVerage Were the operations of your "modify toolpath" that were causing failure inside a folder?

Same here.

The Toolpath Trimming seems to be breaking not only the toopaths that was modified, but also any toolpaths that follow.

@Collin_Korver Consider renaming the thread to something like "Trim Toolpath is broken" as it doesn't seem to be limited to just the Steep and Shallow toolpath.

Agreed Oscar.

I've done some testing and Trim toolpath appears to be broken when either the original or trimmed toolpaths are placed with in folders.

@LeeVerage for me it's broken regardless if it's in the original folder or sub-folders.

Yes, the issue is with Trim and Folders. As mentioned earlier in the thread, there is a solution being worked on. Keep a close eye on the next hotfix or two, we may see a solution come out.

An update went out last night that should address this issue. Let us know if it's still present!

Hey @oscar-cadcampilot

Yes, agreed.  With the few tests I did after the last F360 update, it appears to be working better now as expected.

Thanks Autodesk F360.
