Machine configuration not affecting time CNC mill time estimation

I recently noticed that my machine configuration does not seem to affect the estimated machining time. Doesn't matter if the Feedrate ratio is 10% or 1000%, the end result is the same. Same goes for tool change time. What could be causing this? I have two setups in the program and there is a single (same) machine used in both setups and to post the NC code. I changed the settings and posted the program again - same result.

We have different machines with different speed capabilities and it would be nice to be able to fine-tune the machine configs to match real machining times to estimated times as close as possible. This program takes 16.5min in reality while the estimation shows a bit over 14mins. Surely if tool change times were applied it would be much closer.

Fusion also seems to estimate 0secs for a threading operation that threads 6x M8 holes, which is weird.

Any ideas?

It seems, that settings entered in "Machining time" dialog takes precedence over machine settings.

You should be able to fine tune these parameters in it.

Hm, so it does. I wonder what's the point of the Machine Definition information then, if it is not used. We have six very different machines, I'd like to not need to adjust the Machining Time settings constantly. What's worse is that it seems to be saved globally, not per file / program, so if I update it for one machine/file, it will mess up the rest. It also won't work for another user on another PC. Is there a way of using the data from Machine Definition?

As far as I know, there are plans to improve this behaviour. So, eventually, it will be used.

BTW, machine simulation uses it correctly already.
