On the lathe I'm trying to profile the face, but I can't get a valid toolpath. Here's a screenshot of the part and lathe tool. I attached my 3fd file. I'd appreciate any help.

That's because you have it to only to "Allow Radial Grooving". You need it to also support Axial, so set it to "Allow Radial and Axial Grooving".
Oh, you may also want to increase your Front Height setting, otherwise you just get this:
