HAAS pre NGC post adjustments

Hi

Just looking for a quick steer on tailoring the post processor to miss out certain codes.

I have a 1995 Haas VF-OE and it doesn't understand a G93, yet the generic pre NGC post processor dished one out on the first line and my machine of course hits me with an error code.

Any help in keeping the code old fashioned enough would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom.

Hello,

Are you trying to post out a multiaxis toolpath? G93 should only be output for inverse time feedrates.

Are you able to manually edit the output code to get it working, then upload the before and after, along with a copy of the Fusion file?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Not in the slightest, trying to be the least ambitious as possible with my first practical program. Just doing vertical milling, one set up and that's it. Clicked on the "HAAS preNGC control post without the A axis" and generated a code from there.

On the machine itself I can delete the code and all seems to work fine from there, so it's not the end of the world, but of course it's one job you'd prefer not to have to do each time!

I could upload the file but I'm not sure it'll help much...is there a checkbox I've missed or something?

I'll try and have another go later this week and keep a note of my steps and see if i have the same outcome.

Thanks,

Tom
