I'm not familiar with that control, do you have any sample g-code programs that you could share?

I would also be interested in a post processor for this controller.  I'm in the process of building out a Onefinity build with one.  So far I don't have any usable g-code for it, but PDF manuals can be downloaded here and describe much of how its g-code should be formatted.

GRBL works fine for me, but I know many DDCS users use FANUC
I'm using the DDCS V3

I knew about the similarity to FANUC, but people seem to have to delete some lines at the start of the file and that makes me wonder what other compatibility problems might be lurking that have just not shown their face yet.

Hello, I use a ddcs expert for my retrofit. The operating system in the ddcs is based on Linux. If you look for a Linux cnc post processor you will be able to run programs in your controller. The file extension name is .ngc

The ddcs expert programming is based on Linux, if you download the Linux cnc post processor, your file name will end in .ngc, and you should little trouble running these programs.

I know it's been a while for this message to be replied to...but i built a wetbed cnc router table for use in aerospace panels, etc.  In fusion 360, I use  BobsCNC / bobscnc 2 for the NC program.  It works very well from my experience.  If you know any other NC programs that you have tested and proven, let me know.  I like to experiment with different Post Processors and Programs for various machines. Thanks, and good luck

Hi Afamor17,.

I hope I can help you.
I use the DDCSV3.1, but with respect to your problem, the Solution will not differ from the V4

What to do to restart your job?
Do you remember the line # wäre the Job stopped?
I guess not, because in most cases you will be to confused ….. why does this happen?

If you remember the line #, then go to the restart menu (you found this), type here your line # and GO.

But what if you don‘t know the line #?

Open the job file with an editor and try to find the location of the stop.
This will not be easy ….. First you must learn to understand the info in every command line.

Next step is to find out on what Z level your job ended, and than find a command line with that Z level (more or less, but better take less).
Remember the line # of this instruction and fill this in in the restart menu.
What happens than is that the ddcsv processes all the command lines before the # you filled in, and when it arrives on this location, your job will continue!!!
It is fine when a number of movements take place in the air, but that's no problem.
Please do not forget to turn on the router motor befor you do the restart.
Good luck!

By the way ..... when your restarts begins, but stops at the same location as last time, the problem is in your job.

Best regards,
Leon
