creating micro/mini solid boring bars

Im trying to bore out a M6 hole that as 45 degree angle down to 2mm hole. im trying to create a solid carbide boring bar(mini small turning tools see attached file). how can i create a tool as close as possible to what need because currently it wont recognise the tool and generate a tool path?

Would be more suited in Manufacturing.

@matthew_pitmanF2EMW  You have the inner radius set too big.

Try something like this. I also enabled rest machining, see attached file. PS. Please don't attach pictures, just paste them into the message.

@matthew_pitmanF2EMW Think you'll need a smaller bar. Even If I reduce the retraction down to 0.15mm you get colitions with the back of the tool. I also changed the Clearance diameter to 2.75mm and see this when simulating.

OK, looking closer you don't have the bar setup anywhere near correct. Not going to be able to get it spot on but start here.

This is your tool in an easier to read format.

Note the A dimension is from the point to the back of the tool. Fusion needs from the centre line to the point but also needs the diameter of the reduced section of the tool. Something like this.

With the tool setup like this I get this, seems to work. See attached file but double check everything!

thank you all for your responses i am new to fusion so learning on the job(previous Gibbscam user). @HughesTooling ive setup my boring holder like you have what i the insert setup you have set?

@HughesTooling thanks for your help ive looked through you test program version and ive got tool path now so fingers crossed it machines good!
