Hello,
I'm trying to mill a pocket with the 2D Pocket feature but the mill also cuts parts of the body away.
I also tried it with 3D Pockets but without success.
What is the correct way to define the pocket so that the mill doesn't cut the body?
In the first picture i marked the pocket which i want to mill. But when i select this shape no toolpath is created which is ok.
When I select the bottom surface of the pocket a wrong toolpath is created which mills away a part of the body:
I also tried to select edges instead of surfaces but i can't get it to generate the correct toolpath. Also changing the diameter of the mill makes no difference.
The only workarround i have so far is to remove the cut out on the right side then create the program only for this pocket and copy paste it to the rest of the program which is not a very nice solution.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Chris
