Text formatting in Workflow Editor

Text formatting in Workflow Editor

My request is two-fold.

1. Currently, Transition titles jump around erratically when moved. Instead of always going where you want them to, they will shoot across the page in an unpredictable manner. I would like this to be fixed so getting titles to where they need to be is not an arduous process.

2. I would like to see formatting options for the text within the Workflow Editor. We have clients with very complex workflows and having the ability to rotate text to follow the transitions, or having the ability to adjust the size of text would clean up the appearance.

For request Nr. 1
I can agree, that the transition titles keep shifting and it moves away from the place it should be.

This means that corrections must be made several times in order to achieve a harmonious appearance.

the workflow editor is painful. this should be fixed.

The Workflow Editor feels outdated and provides limited support for creating clear and user‑friendly workflows, especially when working with complex processes. The lack of basic text formatting options makes it difficult to visually structure workflows in a meaningful way. Being able to use different fonts, colors, and text sizes would significantly improve readability and clarity.

Layout handling is also inconsistent. When moving multiple components or copying elements from another workflow, objects often fail to snap properly to the grid, resulting in misaligned layouts that require unnecessary manual adjustments. In addition, when zoomed in, text labels do not reliably attach to transition arrows, even when the handle is placed directly on the arrow. This makes it hard to maintain a clean and predictable layout.

Overall, improving text formatting, grid snapping behavior, and text‑to‑transition attachment would modernize the Workflow Editor and greatly enhance usability and maintainability.
