Show/highlight the traversal path on workflow.

Show/highlight the traversal path on workflow.

Consider a typical workflow with multiple traversal paths from start to finish. If one needs to know the traversal path in such workflow, it is time consuming because he/she has to go through the workflow history log to identify it. It would be a great feature to show/highlight the traversal path on the workflow for ease/quick understanding of the workflow and the nature of the items released on it.

Thank you for the suggestion,

Do you mean something like below, where a clear path (the green arrows) would indicate the workflow steps take? workflow visual.png

what about having multiple loops in returns and submit - how do you imagine to highlight that graphically ?

That's correct Dany.

Hi Klaus,

The workflow doesn't need to show all the paths (approval and/or reject) which it has traversed before reaching the final stage. Instead it should show the current state along with bunch of latest transitions which it took to reach the state.

 Hi,

Thanks for your comments.

I confirm that this idea has been added into our road map for future implementation. No ETA yet on when it might be coming but we will be sure to keep everyone posted.

You may look in a few weeks at our Beta program to see the progress of that feature in our new Modern UI.
