I would like to have unlimited trial access (non-posting) to the manufacturing extensions. (or any other options!) This would allow users to learn/understand the powerful capabilities of these extensions at their own pace. Demonstrating these capabilities and being able to verify process/machine time would make it very easy to justify purchasing the extension when an application presents itself. Having no experience with these additional tools will often make them overlooked as most people only think within the tools they know. For me, I have a 4th axis that is hardly used. With more playing around with rotary toolpaths I may learn a new processing that can boost machining profitability, making at a no brainer to pay for posting capabilities.   Thank you for your time.     Show More

I have an Excel application I would like to run in PLM 360.  It uses VBA and could draw from data in PLM 360.  It is a relatively large application and has a large screen footprint which means there must be capability to scroll to the right to see important data.   Perhaps this capability already exists and I'm not aware of it.  Since many of us are coming from spreadsheet intensive environments it might make the transition easier for us if we could use our Excel applications directly in PLM 360. I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this request/question.    With Fusion 360 becoming an all in one software for the creation of a product, will Fusion 360 eventually branch off to connect all its capabilities to collect data for a Fusion 360 job shop software to be used for estimating, purchasing, scheduling, data collection, shipping and accounting. Similar to the software E2.    Job shops are different than an OEM manufacturer and I believe Fusion is the perfect software for a job shop because it connects all our cutting/machining/design/cam/drawings/forming/fabricating capabilities to produce products for various customers across various industries.    We have converted our machine shop cam/design/drawing capabilities to Fusion 360 and my next step is once the sheet metal module rolls out is to covert our laser/water jet/plasma/2d cam/bending/fabrication drawings to Fusion 360 to have the entire shop under one software.    The final step (wish) would be to then have estimating, purchasing, scheduling, data collection, shipping/receiving and accounting under the same (similar) software for seamless integration.    Is there something in the Fusion 360 family that can do this or is this something being discussed to be created in the future? I am facing the following challenges in Autodesk Fusion Manage and would like to propose enhancements: Folder Inside Folder (Nested Structure): Currently, I can only create a flat folder structure. I need the ability to create folders inside folders to better organize documents and reflect project/document hierarchy. Search in BOM and Grid Tabs: Right now, when I use Ctrl + F, it only searches visible rows and does not include hidden/expanded BOM levels. I would like a search option that works across the entire BOM or Grid tab so I can quickly find parts in large assemblies. Editable Title While Uploading New Document Version: When I upload a new version of a document, the title field is locked. I want the title field to be editable at this stage, so I can correct or update the title without extra steps. My Request: Are there any existing settings that can help me solve these issues? If not, I would like these to be considered as enhancement requests for future releases of Fusion Manage. I am a student currently working on turbomachinery design (compressors and turbines), and I often use Fusion 360 for component modeling. I would like to suggest a feature that could greatly improve productivity: Feature Suggestion: A module where users can input only the key design parameters (e.g., diameters, blade angles, heights, blade count), and Fusion 360 automatically generates a fully editable, parametric 3D CAD model. I would like to have permission to grant access to the report creation option. As of now users are only able to create private reports when they have access to the workspace with a view item permission. The share reports permission grants the users access to creating public or shared reports. In order to prevent a user from creating reports for a workspace, they will need to have their permissions to that workspace removed.  The customer intends to grant restricted access to clients for viewing items within F360M, limited to a particular workspace. However, the concern is that clients currently have automatic access to the report creation option, which they wish to withhold. Periodically we have detailed Setup Instructions that go beyond what is provided from the Fusion generated setup sheet. For example, it might be a detailed set of instructions in MS Word. It might be an excel spread sheet or .jpg file, or pdf file. Currently we have to print them separately and provide them with our Fusion generated setup sheets. If we could store these documents in the folders with our Manufacturing files then link them (hyperlink?) to our Fusion generated setup sheet it would be possible to print all of them with a single command.
