FLC: Mobile Phone App should display attachments and allow edits to Item Details

Currently with the Modern UI working in tandem with the Cloud PDM poses a very big issue for the FLC App because Attachments are not displayed in the phone (Android or iPhone).

Also, would be ideal if you could edit the Item Details, because there are processes in which you have a Checkbox that drives the creation of another item (e.g. Generate RMA; Generate CAPA--> and on the tranisiton the system creates the record). Since there is no ability to edit the WF, this completely disrupts this process, and limits which users can actually execute their processes in the app, and within a process, which users can actually execute specific transitions.

Hi Wendy -

The Mobile App has been retired.  Please review how using Fusion Lifecycle in a browser on a mobile device can be used to see if this addresses your idea.  We encourage your continued participation on the Idea Station.

Hi @benderk; i tried to use Modern in my iPhone, and it is not very usable there. It seems better than several months back, but still can't navigate or scroll easily. What is the timeline to get Modern in mobile supported? Thanks!

Hi Wendy -

Yes, we will be looking at improvements to the experience on a mobile phone in the future roadmap and agree the mobile experience is currently better on a larger tablet such as the iPad.  One cool usability item, have you tried to add a shortcut to your mobile device for a task or view that you want to get to quick?  You can do that, for example, if you want to be able to quickly create a non-conformance.  That way when you select the shortcut it will automatically bring you to the for and you do not need to navigate to it.

@benderk thanks Keri. Our use case is mostly for approvals. The team travels quite a bit, and being able to review an item and approve on the go has been a common request for a while. Thanks!
