Auto-save work

When we are in edit mode for too long or create a new workspace, and we don't hit save after some time (my co-worker was in edit mode for approximately one hour), we lose all of our work when we hit save. I know we could hit save frequently, but some of our workspaces are a little slow so if we hit save it takes a really long time to finally get back to editiing. We would love it if plm simply auto-saved our work.

I see there have been numerous discussion in the forum, and I am please to see this submission on the Idea Station.
