Skewed components on circuit/PCB design after rotation

Hello,

I have some components on a PCB design that I have rotated using ROTATE R5. I click the object 6 times to get to 30^d.  I have tried ROTATE R30 to the same effect - a component looking like a parallelogram.

The rotated components come out skewed such that holding a right angle up to the screen a 16 pin chip is visually skewed by about 12mil, which would be enough to make the smd pads not line up. If I rotate back to a multiple of 90 it is fine again.

How this can be corrected?

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome and ping.

I think the issue has to do with how Fusions visualizes 2D shapes. It's distracting but will not impact the final design will be impacted.  I used PRINT to verify the geometry.

Hello @adam_bellavance,

I hope you're doing well. Could you post a picture of what you are seeing? Monitors aren't the best way to judge the physical size of a component, you could go with a printout or the most accurate and reliable option is to generate gerbers and check them out in a gerber viewer.

Let me know if you are able to verify the output or if you have any questions or concerns.
