PCB Edge connectors library

HI

I am new to the PCB layout process, I see there are tons of libraries, but I can't find one with edge connectors for PCB. does anyone know a library with those? ideally 2,54 pitch.

thanks

Hi

I hope you are doing well!

You can find the connectors in Connector library.

Please check if it has the components you want.

Hello@kerger.marc , @alfonsotames7AURA ,

there seems to be no library with your connector.

Do you have a datasheet or link with 3D-data?

If you have it, it's very easy to make it by your own:

  • Make your own library called "my-con"
  • Copy a similar device (pin-count should be the same, footprint can be a little different)

  • Adjust the footprint
  • Add 3D-Data to your footprint
  • Save your library

If you download Eagle and extract it, you will find in the program-subfolder a realy good documentation:

Chapter 8: Component Design Explained through Examples in "manual_xx.pdf" is a good starting point
