How to rotate this 3D package to fit in with the pads from Footprint, they are -90 degree rotated.
It is very often that when I generate Package using generator, there is no any options to set rotation for the upcoming package. It is often that after generation they are 90 degree or 180 degree wrong rotated. With one capacitor I have managed but here there is no any visible axis to stick and rotate around. Or I am sick already from this software....

Hello @christopher2KLSVU ,
Remember that all Fusion modeling commands are available for 3d package editing. For example, if you want to rotate the model created by package generator, you can go to Solid tab, select Move command to adjust it:
I tried exactly as you said but , through right click move/ rotate but for last package there wasno axis to select and rotate around. I ll try again.
The Move command is so useful that we also put it in the Package 3D tab directly. It's actually the same with the one in Solid tab.
If it doesn't work, can you try to create a body in a normal Fusion design and see if the Move command works? If not, it would be helpful if you can upload a video to show the issue.
@yqliu Please rotate this package, and Write please here exact how do you make it. Perhaps I am to dummy.
When I select the package from the top view, the light blue rectangle(thermal pad) is selected as well, it comes from Footprint. We do not want select and rotate it is fine oriented, in respect to the pads.
Then when I want to rotate package around Z axis, there is no central Z body or Z package axis.
I can only rotate around edges of the package.
How to rotate around central axis which come through center/middle of the Package. Or how to add such axis?.
I would be much simpler and time saving by adding to the Package generator an option; what allows to orient (as user want 90,-90,180 )upcoming package.
Second 3D package which I generate and second is bad oriented, transistor is easy to detect however with SMD Caps it is more dangerous.
@christopher2KLSVU , I'm happy to help but I'm not sure what the issue is. Can you check the "Move Object" option, which is at the top of the Move/Copy dialog, make sure you select "Components" and try again?
I have done it. I had to disable sketches view then somehow I have rotated it, all together. But then I had to re-scale it again as d2pak is bigger than DPAK available in Part generator. Please add D2PAK pre settings in generator and orientation option. It is often used package.
