Library update failed (Error code 9.7.0-584) Please contact Autodesk!

I am replacing all the packages from the wrong unlinked libraries to the new Team libraries and the first item was replaced correctly, after that I keep getting this error.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please try to delete all the parts you want to replace and add the new part from Add Part list?

Hope it helps a little.

Regards,

Helen

Hi @HelenChen-ElectronicsQA , Thank you, yes this would work, however, that means I have to delete and re-insert more than 100 components, I would have to set all the values again and then relocate them in the board and re-route the board. while the replace option is only 3 clicks per component. that is why I cannot do it this way. do you have other suggestions? thank you.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I am so sorry to hear that you have 100+ components need to be updated, it does very time consuming...

I am really very sorry to say that I haven't found easier workaround so far unfortunately...

If it's urgent to get your designs be updated with the correct library, I have to say please manually delete them and add part again...

I understand this is really time consuming, but so far this is the best choice I could provide before you get a new Fusion build with the fix.

Thank you so much for your understanding and patient.

We are really so sorry about any inconvenience.

Regards,

Helen

Hi @Anonymous ,

One idea just came up to my mind:

Could you please use another machine to sign in your account in Fusion 360 there? In a machine which not used the unlinked managed library yet.

Then you could update the part from Fusion Team library (if you cannot find the Fusion team library in the Replace dialog, please go to Library Manager to add the Fusion Team library in In Use tab firstly.)

OpenLibraryManager.PNG

AddFromTeam.PNG

Hope it helps!

Regards,

Helen

Hi @Anonymous ,

I have the same issue where I could fix only the first component and for the next one I get the same error, but I found out different workaround than @HelenChen-ElectronicsQA suggested. Better than deleting all the components and re-adding and re-routing them but it is again time consuming.

What you could do is that after you replace first component, you save the project and close whole PCB project design and then re-open it. Now you could replace next component and repeat the steps.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I hope you're doing well. This is such a weird error, it seems to be temporary. I would say shut down your computer and restart Fusion 360 that sometimes takes care of it.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
