How to Enable Electronics Cooling Preview

How do I enable the electronic cooling preview.  This is not show as a selection in simulation. I have checked preferences, it only shows this is a a start option.  There is no option available in preview.

Thanks

Are you referring to a thermal simulation? That is not electronics specific.

Hi Richard,

The Electronics Cooling preview does not appear in my Preferences under Simulation. Please see attached screen shot.  I tried restarting in while both New Design /Design  and New Electronics Design and also restarting F360.

Awesome.....I thought this was a more generic thermal sim. Nice to see the push for more specific electronics thermal sims.

Specifically for electronics cooling with both natural convection cooling and forced air cooling.  I am anxious to give it a spin.  Check out the tutorial here  https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=Fusion_Simulate_how_to_setup_sim_electronics_cool...

Just echoing the same problem @pd700 is having.  The Electronics Cooling preview does not appear in the Preview list for some odd reason.  I did the same troubleshooting things mentioned in addition to uninstall/reinstall.

I am on a paid subscription, if that makes a difference in availability of the preview.

Hi Guys,

The e-cooling preview is not in Public preview yet. That's why you guys don't have access to it but Richard does. Once it hits Public preview you'll be able to play with it.

Sorry about the confusion you guys.

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for the clarification.  I am sure we all look forward to the availability of the E-cooling preview.  😀     Is E-cooling a subset of the Autodesk CFD  package that has been validated ?

Regards

Hi Jorge,

Any idea when the Electronics Cooling Simulation will be released to the public.

Unfortunately, due to medical issues I have not used F360 for a year.  However, one of the main functions I use with most designs is Simulation.

IT is awesome that the F360 team added the electronics workbench as I will definitely use it for my designs.

Thanks and I look forward to using the Simulation module as soon as its released 😀.

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing better and wish you a speedy recovery.

I do know when the public preview is supposed to start but unfortunately I can't say anything about it. I will say that the e-cooling public preview will be available in the very near term.

That's as much as I can say for now.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
