Electronics Schematics - error

Hi there, I was working on designing a simple PCB as a part of my home flight simulator project.

Its basically a distribution board that used 03 multiplexers. thought that i shall make this PCB to minimise the wiring and combine the multiplexers

I was able to design the board and in Fusion360 it showed no errors, so i went ahead and got it printed.

But upon hooking up the board it not operational and i feel its shorted - but am unable to spot the error.

I have attached the F3d and files,

Hi @captajay.jayaraj ,

Just a kindly suggestion that maybe you could consider to put the dimension in the dimension layer 20 instead, but not in top layer 1? Otherwise it might cause unexpected short circuit.

Hope it helps a little bit.

@HelenChen-ElectronicsQA

Thanks a lot for the suggestion..

I was just hoping that my schematics are not faulty.

could you please guide me on what exactly I need to input into the dimensions tab to achieve this, as this is my first PCB i am bit confused.

or Incase if you could guide me on to some YouTube videos / links which I could watch that would be great as well

Hi @Anonymous ,

Just window select the dimension in the pcb editor, and then in the Inspector panel you could switch the layer to 20 Dimension.

Hope that helps. 🙂

Hi @Anonymous

Add one more comment, if you want to new dimension, after you invoke the dimension command you could switch to Layer 20 Dimension firstly and then draw the dimension in the PCB board.

Then the dimension will be placed in the right layer directly.
